On January 22, 2018, Virginia Lawyers Weekly headlined Mr. Waterman’s case: “Plaintiff gets nursing home training materials”.  Id. at 2.  The article is sub-headed: “A Gloucester County judge has allowed a medical malpractice plaintiff to examine health care training materials over the objection of a defendant nursing home”.   Id.

The patient fall case is Cherrie v. Virginia Health Services, Inc., No. CL14-340.  The lawsuit seeks $4,450,000.00 for wrongful death, and is set for 4-week jury trial beginning October 22, 2018.
